Some of her competition highlights include the leading lady rider and owner/rider at the 2006 USEF National Eventing CCI**** where Heidi and her horse Northern Spy came in an impressive second at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** Three Day Event, the highest placing American, which gave her the title of “2006 USEF National CCI **** Eventing Championship Champion”. In 2005, the pair was 10th at Badminton CCI**** which meant that she was the highest placing American in eight years at this event. They also took 10th at the FEI World Cup Final in Sweden. The previous year, the duo came in eighth at the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event. Heidi and Northern Spy have completed eight four star events and nine three star events. He has posted some of the fastest times around some of the world’s toughest courses. They were an alternate for the 2004 Athens Olympics and completed the four-star course at the 2006 Eventing World Championship in Aachen, Germany where the U.S. team placed fourth, qualifying the U.S. for a spot at the 2008 Olympics.
